John le Carre' would be happy with this spy thriller

It’s very grown-up writing and unafraid to take its time letting the story and intrigue unfold. Michael Fassbender is perfectly cast in the lead role, as the Martian. Jeffrey Wright, always great, is brilliant in this complex role of Harry Ogletree. It’s great to see Richard Gere back as the London bureau chief after he thought Hollywood had given up on him.

I’ve always liked John Magaro

Jodie Turner-Smith is a good choice as Sami Zahir. I mentioned John Le Carré at the beginning because this series plays out like a great spy novel. You have to adapt to his rhythms and nuances, not the chases and the shootings!
