Set in the influential New York music scene of the early 1960s, A Complete Unknown follows 19-year-old Minnesota musician Bob Dylan, who rose to the concert halls and top of the charts as a folk singer – his songs and mystique a worldwide sensation – in 1965 in Newport. It culminated in a pioneering electric rock and roll performance at the Folk Festival.
